ANKARA, 27 June 2012: In a telephonic call last night to President Abdullah Gul, President of Pakistan Mr. Asif Ali Zardari expressed his support and solidarity in the wake of shooting down of a Turkish Air Force reconnaissance aircraft by Syria. President of Pakistan conveyed similar sentiments to Mr. Burhan Kayaturk, President of Pakistan-Turkish Friendship Group in the Turkish Parliament and other parliamentarians and senior representatives of the Turkish Government who received him at the Ankara Airport during his brief stopover this morning.
