The 5thMeeting of Pakistan-Turkey High Level Strategic Cooperation Council (HLSCC) was held on 23 February 2017 at Ankara. The meeting issued the following Declaration/MOUs/Agreements at its conclusion: 1. Joint Declaration on Pakistan-Turkey Strategic Relationship for Peace and Prosperity.
Prime Minister of Pakistan concludes a highly successful visit to Turkey; Strategic Relationship between the two brotherly countries reaffirmed as a number of MOUs/Agreements signed at the conclusion of the 5th Session of the Pakistan-Turkey High Level Strategic Cooperation Council (HLSCC)
Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif will be visiting Turkey from 22-24 February 2017 for the 5th Session of the Pakistan-Turkey High Level Strategic Cooperation Council (HLSCC).The Prime Minister will be accompanied by a high-level delegation, consisting of Ministers and senior officials. He would have wide-ranging consultations with the Turkish leadership on bilateral, regional and international issues. Together with Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim, the Prime Minister would co-chair the 5th HLSCC meeting, to be held in Ankara on 23 February 2017.
Turkey has once again reaffirmed its unflinching support for the oppressed people of occupied Kashmir and stressed the importance of resolving this dispute in accordance with the relevant United Nations resolutions. This support was reiterated at a Seminar held with joint collaboration of the Economic & Social Researches Centre (ESAM) and the Embassy of Pakistan in Ankara on Tuesday to commemorate the Kashmir Solidarity Day.

Pakistan Navy Ship, PNS ALAMGIR (FFG 260), a multi-mission Frigate of 25th Destroyer Squadron arrived at Aksaz Naval Base of Turkey with an embarked ASW Helicopter to participate in the Multinational Maritime Exercise MAVI Balina 2016. The exercise, featuring NATO Navies, is being hosted by Turkish Navy in the Eastern Mediterranean.
Pakistan Navy Ship, PNS ALAMGIR (FFG 260) with an embarked Z9 EC Helicopter onboard, will be visiting Aksaz Naval Base Marmaris harbour during 19 November to 01 December 2016. It will participate in joint Turkish Navy Exercise “Mavi Balina-16”
In a simple and dignified ceremony at the President’s Office in Pristina, Ambassador of Pakistan Sohail Mahmood (resident in Ankara) presented credentials to the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Hashim Thaçi, on 11 November 2016.
