The 70th Independence Day of Pakistan was celebrated in Ankara at an impressive ceremony at Pakistan Embassy in Ankara today. Charge d’Affaires of Pakistan to Turkey, Syed Ali Asad Gilani, raised the Pakistan flag on the tune of the National Anthem in presence of the Pakistani community, Pakistani students and Embassy officials and their families.
Leading businessmen of Pakistan and Turkey participated in the “Pakistan-Turkey Business Opportunities Conference” organized by the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (RCCI) in collaboration with All Industrialists & Businessmen Association of Turkey (TUMSIAD) in Istanbul on 9 August 2017. Over 700 businessmen from Pakistan and representatives of over 150 Turkish companies attended the event
With the aim of further popularizing Pakistani mangoes in Turkey and facilitating their availability in the Turkish market, the Embassy of Pakistan organized a “Pakistan Mango & Food Festival” on Wednesday evening. The event was also part of the celebrations of the 70th Anniversary of Pakistan’s Independence as well as the 70th Year of Pakistan-Turkey Diplomatic relations.
Ambassador of Pakistan to Turkey Sohail Mahmood has said that closer collaboration and sharing of experiences between Pakistan and Turkey in the health field would be of mutual benefit.
Ambassador of Pakistan to Turkey Sohail Mahmood has said that the multi-faceted relationship between Pakistan and Turkey is flourishing in diverse fields, including in the health sector. He was speaking to a delegation from the Punjab Public Health Authority (PPHA), led by its Chief Executive Officer Dr. Shabnam Sarfraz.
The Government and people of Pakistan convey their profound sympathies over the reported injuries as well as material damage caused in Turkey’s Mugla Province by the earthquake off Turkey’s coast with the Aegean Sea.
