A large number of Turkish military and civilian dignitaries and other guests attended the Pakistan Defence & Martyrs Day reception, hosted by Pakistan Embassy here on 6th September 2018 evening.
A large number of Turks had a first-hand experience of the taste, juiciness and aroma of the famous Pakistani mangoes as they converged at Pakistan House in Ankara on Tuesday evening to feast on a wide spread of mango delights made out of freshly-arrived mangoes from Pakistan.
The 72nd Independence Day of Pakistan was celebrated today in Ankara with traditional fervor. The Ambassador of Pakistan, Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi, hoisted the national flag on the tune of national anthem in the presence of the Pakistani community, students, and Embassy officials and their families.
Pakistan, in principle, is opposed to imposition of unilateral sanctions against any country. The solution to any and all issues should lies in dialogue, mutual understanding and goodwill. Any steps or actions to the contrary only undermine the peace and stability and make the solution to a problem more difficult and intractable.
Pakistan and Turkey would work together to further intensify mutual collaboration in the field of disaster management. This was agreed during the meeting between Lt. General Omar Mahmood Hayat, Chairman of Pakistan’s National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), and Dr. Mehmet Güllüoğlu, President of Turkey’s Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), in Ankara
Government of Pakistan announced two tax amnesty schemes, namely, Foreign Assets (Declaration and Repatriation) Ordinance, 2018 for undisclosed foreign assets and Voluntary Declaration of Domestic Assets Ordinance, 2018 for undisclosed income and domestic assets. Last date extended.
