Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mr. Shahid Khaqan Abbasi participated in the 9th Summit of the Developing Eight Organization (D-8) held in Istanbul, Turkey on 20 October 2017. The Summit coincided with the 20th Anniversary of the establishment of organization in 1997.

The 70th Independence Day of Pakistan was celebrated in Ankara at an impressive ceremony at Pakistan Embassy in Ankara today. Charge d’Affaires of Pakistan to Turkey, Syed Ali Asad Gilani, raised the Pakistan flag on the tune of the National Anthem in presence of the Pakistani community, Pakistani students and Embassy officials and their families.
Leading businessmen of Pakistan and Turkey participated in the “Pakistan-Turkey Business Opportunities Conference” organized by the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (RCCI) in collaboration with All Industrialists & Businessmen Association of Turkey (TUMSIAD) in Istanbul.
